All the high school students & lots of adults all loaded into buses on the last Friday in February & headed to a retreat center in Switzerland for the weekend!
The view from the place they were staying was beautiful!
Ezra was really not excited about giving up ‘alone’ time & ‘screen’ time to play group games, go to chapel, & just generally be around a lot of people instead of holing up at home like he tends to want to do on a weekend!
Meanwhile, back at home…
When Micah sent the picture of him & Ezra together at the retreat center, Audrey & I sent one back. We were at the drug store picking up some items before grabbing take-out from a nearby Asian restaurant.
The movie of choice was “Persausion” as we’ve watched the other more ‘mainstream’ Jane Austen films!
The next day Audrey got her haircut, which she had been wanting to do for several weeks!
Is it a girls weekend if you don’t do face masks?
Audrey & I had a fun time just the two of us and my ‘introvert’ guys managed to have a fairly good time at retreat! We were glad to have everyone home Sunday evening!
