We had a fairly quiet Sunday, so Micah took the opportunity to go for a hike through the valley that we could see from our vacation home.
Down on the beach below our house
It was such a rainy day! Micah was drenched by the time he got home!
Beautiful foggy valley
The kids kept busy playing together, doing crafts,…
…& drawing with sidewalk chalk!
Ezra drew an enclosure for his new dinosaurs
A beautiful Hawaiian sunset with Maui in the distance
Enjoying our nephew!
The next day we had a fun day at Spencer Beach! The kids had SO much fun playing together!
The girls had matching shirts!
Mele Kalikimaka!! Enjoying our red cups on the beach!
Little Beach Bums!
After the beach we did a little sight-seeing…
Pu’ukohola Heiau – an ancient religious building
It’s kind of hard to see, but we saw black-tipped reef shark fins!!
Hawaiian Shave Ice!!!
We also drove North to Hawi & saw the King Kamehameha Statue. Along the way we saw some wild turkeys & a whale spout! A productive day in Ezra’s books! We also saw Air Force One arriving on the island & a beautiful sunset as we drove back home!
