Southern Spain Adventure: Madrid – Córdoba

One of the things my parents really wanted to do while they were in Spain, was explore! After reading travel books & looking at pictures, we decided on Southern Spain! About a year ago, we made a tentative itinerary & booked our lodgings since we would be traveling during Semana Santa  along with the rest of Spain (Semana Santa translates to “Holy Week” & is the week leading up to Easter. It’s similar to Spring Break in the states.). It was fun to finally head out on a trip that had been in the making for over a year! Thanks Mom & Dad for taking us on such a fun adventure!

We decided that in order to make the most of our days of break, we would leave right after school on Friday, so as soon as Micah was able to wrap things up, we headed out for Córdoba! We didn’t see anything other than highway scenery on the way down, but it was still fun to see the changes in the landscape after dropping down off the Mesa that Madrid sits on.
