It was fun to celebrate Easter & have Ezra get more into the festivities, but I think it will be at least another year, maybe two before he can fully grasp what Easter is about (although, let’s be honest, aren’t we all trying to fully grasp what happened on Easter since it is outside of our ‘normal’ realm of understanding).
Taking inventory (notice the candy beside him lined up according to type & color – type A personality or what?)
Audrey looking beautiful, albeit a little confused, in her Easter finery!
My two cuties! Admittedly not the best picture of either of them, but we were on a tight schedule as we were sharing in a missions sunday school class that morning!
That evening we were invited to dinner at my sister-in-law’s parent’s house. So, I guess that makes it my in-law’s in-laws! Whatever they are, we had a wonderful time & enjoyed an awesome dinner together!
They had an easter egg hunt for the kids! Ezra was quite good at spotting the eggs as long as we got him headed in the right direction!
He found nearly all of his eggs!
Ezra’s cousin found all of her eggs!
Here are the men folk studying the map & searching for Ezra’s last egg (no wonder he couldn’t find it!)!
Ezra was pretty excited to discover there were animals inside the eggs!
A bunny carrot cake! This is a tradition at my sister-in-law’s family’s easter dinner. I think it is a great tradition – it was really good cake!
Happy Easter! He is Risen!!!
