December was a busy month for us & I did not get around to posting the pictures that I had wanted to post. First off, the elementary Christmas concert went very well, which I was really glad about since I was in charge of the drama aspect of it. The musical that we did was called, “Christmas County Spelling Bee”. Here are a few pictures from the evening, because let’s face it, elementary kids are just cute!
The Fourth-graders playing their recorders before the musical
One of our first-graders playing the xylophone
The “judge” & “pronouncers” for the Christmas County Spelling Bee
We even had cheerleaders in our musical!
The musical ended with a “pageant”
One of the other fun things that happened during December is that 10 of our 16 “old” small group “kids” came back to Kandern. We had them over for dinner & really enjoyed getting to catch up & hear about their adventures since graduating from BFA.
Missy, Meredith, & Chris
Nate, Micah, Collin, & Dan – some things never change
Before we knew it, Christmas had arrived! We had a quiet morning together followed by an amazing dinner with the Director’s family and another young married couple.
Opening a Christmas present from the states (notice his new P.J. pants made by his wife!)
What could be better than Cowboys pajama pants & a Cowboys tie?
A belated “Merry Christmas” from Micah & Heather!
Stay tuned… Pictures from our Eastern Europe Road Trip should be coming soon!
