36 weeks
Time for an updated picture of the belly. Everyone’s question to me at this point is, “Have you dropped?” to which I answer, “I don’t know”. So you can be the judge by looking at the picture from two weeks ago! The last Dr. appointment showed that everything is going well and the baby is still head down (Yay!). People have started worrying that I’m going to have the baby & not make it to ______________(insert BFA event here). At this point, I’m just about ready for that to happen! I have hit that point where my ankles are swelling and with the weather warming up, so am I. Oh & my mother’s day gift from my little one? Barely being able to get my wedding ring off that morning! Needless to say, it is put away until after the birth. So, with all of these little annoyances, I am reaching the point where I am just about ready for this child to be out. He/she needs to wait a couple more days as I still need to put a few things away in the nursery & I need to pack my suitcase. Once those things are done, I say, “Let’s get this show on the road”. Of course, I know I may still have 6 more weeks of waiting ahead of me. Don’t worry I’m not that delirious yet!

Heather, I just want you to know that you are looking so great and I am so glad that you are documenting like this. Yes, you will be getting all sorts of comments in the next few weeks, and even though everyone means well, they tend to get annoying. It’s always an exciting thing when a baby enters the community and there is only so much that people can do or say at this point. I will try my best not to add to the annoyance, but as always, we are here for you if you need and looking forward to meeting FB Powers.
